And while you will be part of a tight-knit team that shares your passion for technology, you'll also gain access the best minds in the business-both as part of the JPMorgan Chase & Co. global technology community, and through our partnerships with some of the most important tech firms in the world.Key Responsibilities of the RoleAct as a subject matter expert and point of escalation for Amazon ElasticCache technical aspectsProvides technical leadership in a team for Amazon ElastiCacheHelp define roadmaps for ElastiCache as a product in cooperation with vendor and key stakeholdersAssumes responsibility for team results and leads implementation of multiple department programsDesign, code, test, and deliver software to facilitate modernization, automation and remove toilBuild self-healing and resiliency patterns across private and public cloud platformsContribute to application frameworks in support of greater resiliency and self-healing capabilitiesImplement performance tests, identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization and capacity demands, presents solutions for continuous improvementsParticipate in deep design reviews with application and platform teams throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability, speed and scaleMature application deployment patterns in support of greater stability, control and speedContribute to best in class monitoring frameworks to accomplish end to end flow monitoring and noiseless alerting with proper telemetryAttributes of Technologists in Platform Services * Ability to thrive in a collaborative and diverse environment * Respect for people and opinions and the ability to confidently offer your point of view * A drive to proactively build trust in order to cultivate long lasting relationships * Optimism and adaptability when faced with challenges and complex situations, coupled with the drive to solve complex problems and continuously optimize processes * Dedication to continuous improvement and development of your skillset and talents * A strong personal identification with JPM's valuesRequired Skills and QualificationsHands-on enterprise experience with Amazon ElastiCache.Java (preferred) or Python programming background. Other languages would be considered.Expertise in at least one technology stack designing, coding, testing, and delivering softwareExperience with Spring Boot building Microservice and/or Web AppsAdvanced knowledge of one or more infrastructure components (e.g. cloud platform - AWS, CF, Google, Azure , containerization - docker, k8s, rdbms, compute, storage, and networks)Experience in end-to-end systems automation and orchestrationExperience with DevOps toolchainsProficiency in AgileStrong debugging and troubleshooting skillsPreferred QualificationsThe ideal candidate has past experience engineering solutions on private and/or public cloud platforms.
