We are looking for an Executive Creative Director, QuickBooks Brand and Marketing to lead a team of passionate product designers, visual designers, content designers and design managers who are chartered with defining world-class go to market experiences and brand systems. Bringing the value and benefit of our ecosystem to life for our customers from the very first glance of our brand all the way through first-time use and into a long-term relationship. This role is based in Mountain View and reports directly to the SVP of Design with dotted line reporting to the SVP, Global Marketing. The Executive Creative Director will lead the team to create an aspirational and actionable vision for our customer experiences. Inspiring the team to drive and own the vision, and ultimately, partners to align on creative strategy and delivery of pixel-perfect curated design experiences of all marketing of products and services in the Small Business and Self-Employed Group including QuickBooks: payroll, capital, time-tracking, commerce, cash products and live bookkeeping services. The Executive Creative Director will be a member of the Market Leadership Team. This team is responsible for defining both short and long-term business strategy, adding value with new design concepts and innovation. Let’s talk if you are: Customer-driven. Help define QuickBooks cross-channel, cross-segment GTM & engagement strategy - informed by our core value propositions and product innovations, a deep understanding of customer needs, business goals and the capabilities of our product platform Deliver phenomenal end-to-end customer experiences and experiments – evolving existing channels and developing net-new capabilities Inspire innovation – translating opportunity into action in ways that galvanize your partners to stretch, building capability and step-changing experience quality Establish and measure cross-segment, cross-device experience excellence - spearhead and drive complex programs that span across products, platforms and organizational divides, always with an eye for excellence and effectiveness Provide strategic and creative guidance - that helps grow craft and impact for your design teams and marketing partners Qualifications: 9+ years designing and building beautiful experiences at scale Proven track record being an exceptional people manager and creative coach Natural bias to working with other functions and partners A dazzling portfolio, with core strength in creative strategy and execution Experience and comfort tackling challenges in complex spaces and competitive markets A Masters degree in Advertising, Product or Graphic Design, Consumer Research is preferred and/or equivalent experience Technical savvy and experience executing multi-channel lifecycle engagement strategies across web and mobile platforms Nice to haves: Agency leadership experience designing and driving creative campaigns with world-class brand partners Direct experience owning or managing a small business
