DESCRIPTION:Duties: Work as an Application Development Lead responsible for delivering a portfolio of applications. Responsible for building highly secure, scalable, cloud native, and high performance applications. Collaborate with business partners to gather and review requirements, identify process improvements and automate processes by delivering technology solutions utilizing knowledge of financial products. Work in an agile environment providing analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment and production support utlizing Java, JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, HTML5, CSS, Tomcat, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, ExtJS, XML, XSL, XSD, JPA, Hibernate, JSP, JSF, Javascript, AJAX and Unix. Apply knowledge of Relational Databases, Oracle, PL/SQL (packages, procedure and functions) to develop software design. Work as a Platform Lead and Solutions Architect leading/mentoring a team of engineers and own project deliveries. Present complex design patterns to senior managers and serve as a subject matter expert on processes owned by JP Morgan's technology team. Design and deliver architectures, user interfaces and Microservices. Provide project estimates, detailed development plans and allocate resources. Modify existing software to improve performance and tuning of applications. Analyze and understand complex systems and data flows among different applications. Conduct code reviews and ensure timely delivery of high-quality code. Collaborate and maintain code using Github and SVN. This position does not supervise employees.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field.Minimum experience required: 7 years of Full Stack application development experience, or related experience.Skills required:Must have full stack development experience in building enterprise web and mobile applications. Must have experience in Solution Architecture. Must have experience working as a Lead, hiring and mentoring team members. Must have experience managing application development and deliveries. Must have experience building Microservices using Spring, Spring Boot and knowledge of Cloud environment. Must have experience in Financial industry with knowledge of financial products. Must have Java and JEE experience. Must have User Interface development experience using Angular, Javascript, CSS, ExtJS, HTML5. Must have experience with Relational Database systems, Oracle, PL/SQL, Reporting using BI tools like Tableau. Must have experience collaborating with business partners to gather, document and review requirements.
