MRI, a woman-owned technologies and engineering services company, has a need for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer. **Project information:** The NASA Scientific and Technical Information (STI) Program is a critical component in the worldwide activity of scientific and technical aerospace research and development. The NASA STI Program acquires, processes, archives, announces, and disseminates NASA STI and acquires worldwide STI of critical importance to NASA and the Nation. Collected from U.S. and international sources, STI is organized according to content prior to being added to the NASA STI Repository (NTRS). The STI Repository is a world-class collection of STI that includes over 4.3 million metadata records and over half a million full-text documents. **Hit the ground running:** * Demonstrates self-sufficiency and eagerness to improve product quality and UX * Expert level proficiency with Typescript and Angular * Strong understanding of the web browser environment * Experience with Docker in a local development context **Nice to have:** * Experience with reactive state management * Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) tooling like Angular Universal * Experience with static site generators like Hugo **Responsibilities:** * Collaborate with the Product Manager and fellow engineers (Backend, UX, etc.) to develop and maintain customer projects * Develop a deep understanding of the relevant project domain * Propose and implement robust UIs with quality UX to address highly domain-specific problems * Continuously advocate for improvements to product and code quality, identify and eliminate technical debt **Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.** **MRI Technologies is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
