The UX Researcher role will have the critical responsibility of working with our team to surface and prioritize strategic questions, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations, which will directly shape our roadmap and how our product best serves the needs of our customers. You will have the opportunity to help lay the foundation for exceptional UX research with our Senior UX Researcher and the other members of our UX team. Ideal candidates will be driven by the problem we are solving but also by the innovative approach and technology that we are applying to healthcare - looking to make a significant impact on healthcare delivery. We’re looking for someone with exceptional curiosity and enthusiasm for solving hard problems. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Lead user-centered research throughout the product development process, from discovery to delivery, using a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods to address knowledge gaps and enable us to make better product decisions—methods including in-depth interviews, surveys, usability testing, concept testing, contextual inquiry, competitive analysis, persona development, and user journey mapping * Plan and develop research goals, methodology, scope, and timelines, in collaboration with product, design, and other internal stakeholders; manage logistics of research including identifying, sourcing, and screening for the right participants, and scheduling and communicating with participants throughout your study * Effectively and efficiently separate signal from noise when analyzing data; clearly communicate actionable key insights and recommendations to our product team and internal stakeholders, to ensure they understand user needs and are empowered to translate insights into solutions * Consider the needs of various users and stakeholders—care teams, patients, and internal-facing teams—when planning research and implementing user-centered practices into our product development process * Define how we do UX research at Memora with our Senior UX Researcher; champion UX research and user-centered decision-making at Memora through education, advocacy, and supporting teams with their various research needs **Qualifications (Required):** * 1-3 years experience as a UX researcher with experience leading, planning, and conducting research while collaborating with stakeholders and an agile team, across the entire product lifecycle; you are a quick study, a great listener, and eager to grow and learn from others * Strong cross-functional collaborator, with experience facilitating decision-making with product managers, designers, engineers, and other internal stakeholders; you can adapt to the needs and styles of different teams and teammates (as you will be working across different product areas) * Mixed methods researcher with both generative and evaluative research experience, especially validating product ideas and usability testing—but also with a command over various methodologies including in-depth interviews, surveys, persona development, and user journey mapping (and doing so effectively in a fully remote role); you are inclusive in your approach to research and employ a variety of methods to get the best ideas and questions out of your team * Strong verbal and written communication skills—you can hold your own in a meeting and confidently communicate research findings in a way that is clear, not only to the product team, but also non-product teams and leaders; you are also open, honest, and empathetic in your interactions with your team members * You take care in the details, while keeping the big picture in view; you can conduct user testing, but can also recognize fundamental knowledge gaps, and push for strategic, foundational research when it is needed, to ensure we identify and solve for the right problems **Qualifications (Bonus):** * You have experience in—and are excited about improving—healthcare / digital health * You have experience working at a startup **What You Get:** * An opportunity to work on a rapidly scaling care delivery platform, engaging thousands of patients and care team members and growing 2-3x annually * Enter a highly collaborative environment and work on the fun challenges of scaling a high-growth startup * Work alongside world-class clinical, operational, and technical teams to build and scale Memora * Shape how leading health systems and plans think about modernizing the care delivery experience for their patients and care teams * Improve the way care is delivered for hundreds of thousands of patients * Gain deep expertise about healthcare transformation and direct customer exposure with the country’s most innovative health systems and plans * Ownership over your success and the ability to significantly impact the growth of our company **About Memora Health:** Memora Health helps healthcare organizations digitize and automate care journeys, making complex care delivery simple for patients and clinicians to navigate.
