Work with an amazing team and help build something meaningful. /wp:paragraph wp:heading {"level":3} ### Job Description /wp:heading wp:paragraph We are now looking for a **Developer Relations Engineer** to kickstart and scale our developer relations and community efforts. You will be engaging the open-source community and working with developers and sustainability consultants as they take advantage of the Climatiq open database and API to deliver climate-positive solutions. You will help developers connect to Climatiq solutions, help them to integrate into other systems or build novel applications on top of our platform. You will act as our eyes and ears to gather and share relevant developer insights so that our products are built to meet the community's needs and provide the best possible experience. /wp:paragraph wp:paragraph Your primary objective will be to grow the Climatiq developer ecosystem and help developers flourish once they join the community. The ideal candidate possesses a unique combination of technical skills, community building, and communication acumen. You’ll use your knowledge and empathy to define product strategies and craft narratives around new products and technologies with a positive impact on the climate. /wp:paragraph wp:heading {"level":3} ### Responsibilities /wp:heading wp:list * Connect with, inspire, and educate developers, product managers, and sustainability consultants * Work closely on developer programs such as hackathons and incubators, specifically around sustainability, emission data, and carbon accounting * Set up and manage our online communities and engage with users on relevant external forums * Plan and build developer onboarding materials such as tutorials, demo apps, explainer videos and other technical documentation * Build SDKs, tools, libraries and prototypes * Identify key integration opportunities and form relationships with 3rd parties and partners * Represent the needs of technical communities throughout the entire product lifecycle - including input on design discussions, customer zero testing, launch, and post-launch updates. * Support Climatiq product strategy by working with Product Management, Engineering, and commercial teams. /wp:list wp:heading {"level":3} ### Qualifications /wp:heading wp:list * Genuine interest in the climate technology sector, sustainability, and a carbon-neutral economy * Prior experience in developer relations or similar roles, particularly in open-source software * 5+ years of experience as a software engineer or equivalent technical experience * Experience speaking at technology conferences, blogging/writing technical articles with an existing follower base, or contributing to popular open-source projects * Strong written and oral communication skills * Fluent English, additional languages a plus /wp:list wp:heading {"level":3} ### Additional information /wp:heading wp:list * Location: Berlin, or Remote within +/- 2 hours of CET timezone * Starting date: as soon as possible * Hours: full-time, flexible working hours * Salary: competitive, including stock options /wp:list wp:paragraph Climatiq is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome and encourage candidates from all backgrounds and experiences to apply for roles on our team. /wp:paragraph
