Location: Plano (ON-SITE)
This position will encompass end to end requirements from intake and prioritization to planning and execution of work inclusive of infrastructure design, test execution, and implementation. The successful candidate must possess strong analytical & problem-solving skills, have the ability to prioritize and manage time. This position requires a person who is comfortable with servers, databases, SQL or Python, as they will be responsible for managing multiple data sources, standardizing, and storing them appropriately in servers and databases that they oversee. To be successful in this position, candidates will need to take ownership of the cleanliness and quality of the data, and not merely shepherd it from one system to another. Workflows will be used to transform data, preparing it for Tableau dashboarding and end user consumption.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Modifies and blends data by designing workflows in the Alteryx application to harvest, validate, clean and standardize data in a highly repeatable manner * Data analysis and insights focused on high accuracy, trending and modeling in line with GT modernization Strategies * Configures APIs used to connect data sources. * Maintains familiarity on all systems and processes utilized by the CI Systems team. * Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, Procedures, training and team member involvement activities. * Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or a related field * A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Data Analytics required. * Solid understanding and experience working with databases, tables, variable types, and variable attributes. * Experience with SQL query development, database joins and checks * Desire to design the most effective data storage solution for reporting purposes and take proactive ownership of the \"cleanliness\" of that data. * Highly collaborative team player who is focused, self-motivated, detail oriented, accurate, and flexible - able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and tight timelines. * Expertise with Alteryx data transformation software is preferred but not required. * Expertise with Tableau reporting software is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with data types and nuances will help in this position.
