We provide them with the modules, which are easy to integrate, cover the entire spectrum of payment management: from the processing of various payment types, through automated analytics of customer behavior and requirements, all the way up to integrative risk management. **ABOUT THE TEAM** As part of the Risk Control team, you are expected to deeply immerse yourself into topics and areas, to identify and manage any obstacle that could hinder the organization to meet its strategic objectives and ensure that the organization acts within the set risk appetite set by the board and CEO. The objective is to identify risk across the organization, support 1st (business) line, design and improve processes, perform annual control testing and all other 2nd line of defense risk related topics/areas. You will report directly to the Director Enterprise Risk and will also have close collaboration with Unzer’s management. You will also work in close collaboration with teams/people across the organization to (i) support/assist the process/product owners with the risk identification and the annual risk assessment, (ii) identifying new or improving existing controls and key risk indicators to reduce and monitor the risks within the team, (iii) create more risk awareness within the organization, (iv) support the teams to follow processes and procedures that have been developed within Unzer. **WHAT YOU WILL DO / DEINE VERANTWORTUNG** Day to day tasks * Be the local expert and support to the teams in risk related matters * Drive risk management improvement programs within the organization * Assist in leading and performing risk identification and risk assessments for major changes within the New Product Approval (NPA) process and the yearly risk assessments of the business-critical products/services/processes. * Defining, implementing, and testing local risk management routines * Support the product/services/process owners in identifying new or improving existing controls and key risk indicators to reduce and monitor the risks within their team * Manage risk management metrics follow-up and improvement work * Drafting / assisting in the creation of new Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) * Lead business continuity tests and improvement work. * Review incidents and support in retrospectives and root cause analysis * Coordinate with other control functions and auditors * Create structure in disordered information/data * Generate insights, communicate and recommendations * Design and improve processes * Ability to find data and information in collaboration with other people and teams * Identify improvement areas in several functional areas * Apply both a helicopter perspective as well as have the ability to go into details **YOUR PROFILE / DEIN PROFIL** You should have * A degree from a bachelor/university in a numerate subject (e.g. Economics, Science, Engineering, or Business) * Applicable work experience with operational and/or financial risk in a risk management function or consulting/audit environment of +3 years * The skillset to explain operational/financial risk in both oral and in writing to an inexperienced audience * Experience of working in a regulated environment * The skillset to interpret regulations and put them into practice * Experience in establishing and improving controls and key risk indicators to reduce and monitor risk exposures * Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English * Strong attention to detail and experience in using structured approaches to problem-solving without losing the big picture perspective * Significant drive and ambition * Strong conceptual ability You might also have * A good understanding of modern cloud-based development * Experience from agile development methods Nice to have: * Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written German **WHAT WE OFFER / WAS WIR DIR BIETEN** * Flexible working hours and the ability to work remotely * Personal development and training opportunities, in addition to internal knowledge sharing forums and best-practice sharing.
