Location: San Francisco, CA Remote Policy: Hybrid Contract: Unlimited full-time contract with flexible hours. Part-time is possible. Reporting to: Johannes Schröder, Head of Talent The Role -------- As our first recruiter, you'll join a startup with a meaningful mission experiencing rapid growth near the start of it all. Our future team will be shaped by you; no pressure! You should care deeply about culture and know how to read people. Experience in recruiting is a plus, but not a requirement. Our dream candidate has the hunger to achieve something great with us. Responsibilities ---------------- * Lead the end-to-end selection process for our open positions. You work closely with our leads, conduct interviews, and facilitate hiring decisions. * Spot raw talent. You proactively reach out to people and review incoming applications. Every tool is at your disposal to get the right people to talk to us! * Vet & excite candidates. Your job is to safeguard the soul of our culture. The fate of our future team is in your hands. * Build a reliable recruiting engine with our Head of Talent. You’ll have a massive influence on not just *who* we attract & hire but *how* we do it. Skills & Experience ------------------- * We're more concerned with your drive and hunger than your experience. We invest in potential. * Genuine curiosity for people’s motivation and work. You go beyond the small talk and like to match talent with opportunities for meaningful growth and impact. * Strong communication skills. You represent our team and mission externally. You need to effectively communicate our values even in an interaction as short as an email. * Organization and attention to detail. You must be the person who doesn't let the ball drop on an excellent candidate. * [Bonus] Extra points for recruiting experience, especially in high-growth environments. * [Bonus] Degrees are overrated, but a background or keen interest in psychology, HR management, or similar can help a lot.
