Please email a copy of your CV if you meet the requirements.** * Minimum of 5 years marketing management experience with an events company * Experience of planning and executing short and longer term integrated marketing campaigns with strict timelines and KPIs in line with event dates * Experience of working with and across all functions in the events team i.e. logistics, venue, program content, and speaker acquisition to ensure marketing objectives are achieved * Experience of managing a team of freelance marketing professionals to ensure marketing results are achieved * Experience across all aspects of Digital Marketing: * Customer Persona Creation and Customer Journey Mapping * Digital Content Strategy including * Content Creation and Curation * Channel Strategy and Execution * Website UX and Landing Pages including A/B Testing and Conversion Tracking * Search Engine Optimisation * Content Calendar Design + Scheduling * Social Media Marketing (Organic + Paid) * Social Media Advertising particularly Linked In * Search Engine Marketing (SEM) i.e. Google * Display Advertising (Display Banners, Video Ads) * Google Analytics * Email Marketing * List Management * Campaign Scheduling * Conversion Tracking * Experience in branding strategy working with management to reflect * Brand values and Archetypes * Tone of Voice * Design of marketing collateral and materials (both on and offline) * Experience across all aspects of event marketing i.e. * Online Listings * Industry groups participation * Community Building * Experience in gathering and analyzing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities across all our marketing efforts * Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders (especially with sponsors/customers and partners) to meet shared objectives and respect the constraints of co-branded activities (approval for the content and for the publishing timing) * Experience of creating innovative marketing strategies either offline or digitally to meet business objectives **Soft skills:** * Creative yet analytical * Able to combine strategic thinking with tactical execution * Fluent verbal and written English proficiency. A second or third european language among our key markets is a bonus (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch) * Excellent communication skills, orally & in writing to lead and inspire * Extraverted and people oriented (upbeat, positive, can do attitude, good sense of humour!) * High energy (to adapt to our fast paced company culture and to get the ball rolling and hit the ground running) * Diligent (strong sense of emergency, fast, both a strategic and tactical practitioner with a planned strategy, versatile, able to deal with ambiguity) * Persistent (gets the job done, consistent, continues to follow through to achieve results) * Committed (takes ownership & accountability, is reliable, does not need to be chased, continuously improves) * Creative (is always thinking of innovative ways for how to achieve desired results) * Excellent organisational skills * Results and outcome oriented * Analytical and data oriented * Synthetical mind in order to present to management a clear overview of the situation outlining determining factors and key action plans resulting from these factors **Compensation: Competitive Market Rates** **Required activities include:** * Working with the management team to devise an integrated marketing strategy to attract sponsors and grow our retailer community and broader network * Working with all teams in the business from sales to logistics and conference production to ensure marketing objectives are achieved * Creating both short term and longer term marketing plans for the business across all channels and ensuring accurate execution * Driving inbound traffic and provide marketing qualified leads (MQLs) for our sales and retailer teams to convert * Managing the overall effectiveness of the marketing team and stepping in where needed to close the gaps specifically ensuring * Our content calendar is accurate and updated especially in relation to sponsor announcements and sponsor posts. Ensure corporate posts, announcements (speakers, media partnerships…) and co-branded communications with sponsors are approved and accurate * Ensure our content is relevant and engaging * Ensure our website is up to date and optimises UX * Ensure our brochures and collateral are designed and completed with the set timelines * Working closely with the wider DELIVER Team i.e. Sales, Graphic Design, Retailer Team to optimise the marketing efforts * Monitor and report performance (marketing effectiveness) on a regular basis to continuously implement improvement plans **Working conditions:** * Full remote * Contract-based/freelance, registered for tax in country of residence * Working days & hours: Monday-Friday 9am to 6pm CET * Country of residence is not a key driver to fill the position but cultural proximity and work from one of our 7 key countries (UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Belgium) is a strong plus * High speed cable internet access & modern laptop with excellent video cam and sound functionality * Dedicated and quiet workspace, to not be disturbed by family members, pets or ambient noise, especially when on calls with external stakeholders and colleagues.
