DESCRIPTION:Duties: Develop Banking payments related software with Java, JavaEE, RESTful Web Services, Tomcat, Oracle Database, Mainframe High Level Assembler (HLASM), COBOL, CICS, REXX, JCL, VSAM, ENDEVOR and DB2; Develop JUnit Test cases and execute them prior to code promotion to quality assurance environments; Develop architectural plans for new builds and cross impacted high value domestic and Foreign Exchange (FX) payment applications; Create technical design documents for high value payment functions; Perform design, development and testing of multiple Distributed applications that are Highly Available (HA), follow Enterprise Integration Pattern and utilize Micro Service oriented architecture; Identify, analyze and refactor Oracle/DB2 database stored procedures to improve performance and increase latency; Develop applications that follow 12 factor cloud principles and deploy to private cloud - Cloud Foundry and public cloud - AWS/Azure Review payment applications technology for cybersecurity vulnerabilities and remediate the gaps; Secure distributed and cloud applications by configuring them to use SSL/TLS encryption protocols; Develop secure data transmission processes between various distributed and Mainframe (Legacy) applications using NDM; Ensure applications are resilient by performing regular Disaster Recovery (DR) and sustained resiliency activities; Build automated Jenkins pipelines to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment model (CI / CD).QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Business Applications Analyst, Project Manager, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
