You will be building and supporting the next generation applications for web in Live entertainment. The Applications Architect will serve as a technical leader and SME for our Cloud/DevOps ecosystem of partners, customers, and service providers. You will help lead a team that builds automation and services to make operating a massive large scale distributed system simple. You will design a development platform that will integrate software, workflows, and strategies to achieve their reliability and scalability objectives. Specific Functions/Activities Summary Provide hands-on guidance and oversight to architect, design, and implement on-prem applications and applications for the AWS and Azure Cloud using Microservices. Lead architecture with containerization related management stacks like Kubernetes and Docker Lead and take part in cloud readiness assessments, workshops, roadmap, and application modernization discussions Lead cloud architecting sessions with business and technology owners Support of local operations and development teams in their work on front-end websites, REST APIs, back-end software development, and other mission-critical systems Develop automated solutions to monitor and support our software development and release processes Run team using Agile Methodology Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on experience in software architecture design, building and scaling high-performance applications in Azure Cloud with Microservices, and API management 7+ years of hands-on full-stack development using JavaScript, Angular 5+, Bootstrap, C# .NET, .NET Core, SQL Server, and MongoDB 3+ years of hands-on DevOps CI/CD experience in Azure Cloud Experience with containerization related management stacks like Docker & Kubernetes Experience working in an environment with Azure Repos, GitHub, and Test Automation Frameworks Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal to interpret business requirements / technical design documents, and design / develop appropriate software solutions. Ability to prepare and clearly communicate proposed technical solutions to both technical and business audiences Ability to work with cross-functional teams in harmony and negotiate with the technology board on best architecture practices Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience Education Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
