### Job description JOB DESCRIPTION Cubii is looking for a seasoned Industrial Designer to join the Product Team. The Industrial Designer will be responsible for utilizing creativity, problem solving, and mechanical aptitude to solve unmet consumer needs with innovative, intuitive, and elegant design solutions. You will work closely with the Industrial Design Manager, interfacing directly with Engineering, Product Management and external partners on current projects as well as researching and developing concepts for future products. To succeed, you will need to possess a creative vision and possess the skills to bring that vision to market. RESPONSIBILITIES • Generate innovative concepts of new Cubii products across all categories • Develop concept sketches/3D CAD/renderings and define the CMF (color, materials, finishes) specifications for multiple projects • Work with Product Managers & Engineering to evaluate concepts and create compelling design presentations • Communicate product design intent to vendors and mechanical engineers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the entire product development process into production • Support the development of the Cubii Visual Brand Language to establish a strong visual family look within the product portfolio EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial Design • A minimum of 4+ years of post-graduate, professional design experience • Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills • Possess excellent 2D visual communication skills using traditional sketching and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) • Proficient in 3D CAD solid modeling and advanced surfacing tools using Solidworks • Proficient in creating photo-realistic design renderings using Keyshot • Good mechanical and structural aptitude, and knowledge of various materials and their associated manufacturing processes • Relevant experience working with cross-functional product development teams and external partners • Ability to work on multiple programs simultaneously while balancing cost, timing, and manufacturing constraints • Previous experience designing wellness and fitness equipment is a plus • Portfolio or sample work required with application
