### Job description Job Description Product Designer Cambridge is dedicated to the art of exceptional style, quality and value in home and tabletop accessories. A family- run business, working together for three generations, Cambridge has become an industry leader in design and innovation, selling to all major retailers, primarily under their own brand names or as a licensee for celebrities, designers, and well-known home brands. We are now seeking a mid-level designer to join our flatware, housewares, and kitchenware development team. The designer will be primarily focused on supporting Cambridge’s core flatware business but will also be responsible for broader houseware projects connected to our other brands. Primary Responsibilities Design and develop products from start to finish in an independent and team environment. Communicate design concepts clearly through sketching and rendering. Participate in defining and endorsing project parameters while working within a specific timeline to achieve them. Support development initiatives by conducting market research, analyzing trend, visiting retail environments and exploring the online marketplace. Work closely with management and sales teams to review & modify designs while keeping focus on the desired end product. Openly communicate problems and solutions to the parties involved while working with the team to solve them. Education Bachelor’s Degree in industrial design At least 4 years or more industrial Design experience, preferable in consumer products Qualifications Proven ability to develop products from concept through manufacturing. Strong Knowledge in Photoshop & Illustrator SolidWorks and Blender experience is a plus. Excellent Communication and written skills. Proactive with a positive attitude. Works well in collaborative environment. Ability to organize and manage multiple projects. Strong sketching and conceptual abilities. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to adapt and work well in fast paced team setting.
