The Foundation is seeking a freelance Graphic Designer for a minimum of six months. **Summary** The graphic designer will execute a new visual identity created by the design firm, Pentagram, to visual content and assets. This role reports into Mellon’s internal Creative Director. The role entails approximately 30 hours per week. Most work will be done remotely and visits to the Manhattan office will sometimes be necessary. **Position Details** Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: • Design assets and content for web, print, video, and social media • Research, art direct, and produce illustration assignments • Create wireframes • Create motion graphics • Design project briefs and presentations • Redesign templates for internal and external use **Qualifications** Applicants should possess: • BA in Graphic Design (or commiserate) • 3–6+ years of professional graphic design experience • Experience in brand-building, typography, and illustration art direction • Proficient command of Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Figma, Microsoct Office Suite including PowerPoint • Ability to develop and complete designs from concept through production • At ease working independently with brand guidelines and collaboratively with creative direction • 3D design or animation experience preferred but not required The Foundation is an equal opportunity employer that offers a competitive pay and excellent working conditions.
