We are right now looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team. **What we offer** * Competitive salary and equity package * High degree of autonomy * Real social impact and global reach * State of the art work station… you tell us what you need! * Free gym membership, metro ticket, and compensation of your personal CO2 footprint * Flexible hours and a remote-friendly environment * Relocation assistance * Become part of a creative, friendly and purpose-driven team * These are the early days — your input will make a real difference! **What you’ll do** * As our first dedicated data specialist, you'll become the point person for all things data * Be responsible for the data strategy of the company * Work with all departments, in particular Leadership, Product and Marketing * Develop and scale ETL processes and pipelines for a growing data team * Work with engineers to make sure we collect the right data to produce relevant business insights from our app and tools * Measure business performance, develop core metrics and create dashboards to track and understand them * Establish testing practices and design experiments * Thrive in an early stage environment and be keen to solve data problems with the appropriate solution to have impact * Enable yourself and others to analyse user behaviour to uncover insights * Communicate stories with data to a variety of stakeholders **What we’re looking for** * Bachelor’s degree or above in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science) * 3+ years in a data role * Experience conducting A/B tests to inform decision making * Proficiency with SQL, ETL and pipeline tooling (such as dbt, dataform etc.) * Understanding of data visualization best practices * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to communicate complex analyses to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership * Experience working in cross-functional teams * Good knowledge of legal requirements for data privacy and security under the terms of GDPR * (Preferably) Experience working in a Tech startup We are committed to diversity and equity and seek to build an inclusive workplace that welcomes people from all different backgrounds.
