Overview :The Software Engineer Program (SEP) is a global entry-level, two year career development program designed to create software engineer talent pipelines in EMEA, APAC, India, LATAM and the US. SEP hires over 1200 full time engineers globally on a yearly basis, with approximately 700 for the US program. Annual global summer intern hiring is ~1000.SEP hires qualified full time software engineers into business aligned and corporate focused technology groups over a robust two year program designed to provide entry level talent with the foundational technical and professional skills enabling them to build robust networks and establish successful careers in technology at JPMorgan Chase. There is also a ten-week Summer Intern component of SEP which provides a pipeline for the full-time SEP program.While in SEP, engineers build technical and leadership skills through challenging assignments, comprehensive feedback and coaching, rigorous training and performance development.This role specfically supports the Software Engineer Program in the US and reports a senior program manager on the team.Job Function:The Program Manager role is critical to the success of the Program. The Program Manager plays a variety of roles within the Program including supporting analysts/interns, developing and managing relationships with clients and partnering with key firmwide stakeholders to ensure the Program's success.This role provides an excellent opportunity for end-to-end ownership by creating and driving strategy around the Program objectives to: deliver a globally consistent and robust analyst experience, secure challenging roles providing growth opportunities, align with engaged managers, support the firm's entry level talent and location strategy and actively listen to our stakeholders to continuously improve and transform the Program. This role offers high visibility to technology executives across the firm and the opportunity to partner with them on junior resource management.High level responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Analyst Engagement * Manage all core Program processes from end to end including hiring targets, placement, performance management, compensation and analyst development * Provide guidance to LOB Managers/HR Business Partners on performance management issues * Provide coaching to analysts on career planning and development, increasing performance/contribution, issue resolution, mobility searches and retention * Provide analysts, TAP alumni, managers, hub leads, HR Business Partners and technology executives with ongoing program updatesLOB Partnerships * Work with key stakeholders to identify hiring targets and placements for analysts * Proactively partner with executives and managers to educate them about the program, ensure role clarity between the LOB and the Program and to understand expectations of analyst * Work with Program Advisory Board and hub leadership to refine recruiting strategies, training and development strategies, LOB engagement, performance management and compensation and other key program strategies and decisions * Partner with LOB HR Business Partners to ensure the successful implementation of the Program in the LOBs and address any issuesProgram Management * Partner with Campus Recruiting to deliver top quality talent for the company, including Program qualifications, diversity initiatives and participation in candidate assessment activities * Develop presentations for analysts, managers and senior stakeholders * Partner with the TAP Training team to ensure all aspects of analyst training are successfully planned and implemented * Drive the production, analysis and distribution of key program metrics * Participate in and lead program-wide initiatives including process re-engineering, communication strategy, analyst role review, manager effectiveness, analyst/manager surveys, global analyst committees and alumni program * Work with other PMs on US and Global teams to ensure consistency in process and approachQualifications :Given the broad and deep scope of the Program Manager role, there are many skills that are necessary for success in the role: * 7-10 years experience working in Technology, HR or Talent Management * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, strategic client relationships at the executive and manager level * Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation and facilitation skills * Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize and escalate appropriately * Strong attention to detail, follow-through and results orientation * Ability to successfully multi-task across tactical and strategic initiatives * High degree of initiative and autonomy * Demonstrated ability to work in a virtual team environment * Strong consultative and influencing skills * Strong project and process management skills * Creativity and ability to generate new ideas * Strong professional presence * Experience with talent development strategies are a plusJPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
