Talagent is located on Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado. **About the role** We’re looking for a designer to craft user-flows and wireframes that improve the relationship between a financial advisor and their client. Your role is to give form to the product features through principled design. We’re looking for candidates who have excellent technical craft, a strong and broad understanding of usability, and the ability to reshape unintuitive concepts. This role requires strong attention to detail and an understanding of application development. This is a contract role that may become full time and permanent. **What you’ll do** * Craft precise user flows and wireframes that simplify complicated concepts * Solicit feedback and engage with interdisciplinary stakeholders to iteratively refine designs * Develop and contribute to an elegant UI/UX strategy of shared components, data visualizations, and interaction patterns * Communicate design intent and facilitate hand-off of final design assets, visual specifications, and UI/UX requirements * Advance an expert and strong perspective of customer benefit, usability, and design rationale * Lead with a hypothesis-driven framework * Manage responsibilities, time, and expectations appropriately **What you’ll bring** * Excellent interaction and graphic design craftsmanship * Deep expertise around usability, accessibility, and data visualization * Experience facilitating research and testing design concepts * Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills * Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision * University degree in relevant design field or equivalent experience in responsive web * Bonus: Experience designing for financial applications **Benefits** * Competitive compensation * Retirement plan (401K) * Fully paid health insurance (including dental and vision) * Equity in the form of stock options * Opportunity to attend conferences, community events, or academic events * A commitment to your technical and professional growth * Opportunity for growth, advancement, and learning Talagent is an Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer.
