We are a small Financial Publishing company looking for a Rockstar Email and Advertising Operations Specialist to traffic campaigns for our Advertising team. These campaigns will include Email and Web. We are looking for a detail-oriented expert with experience in HTML design and implementation of email best practices. This role is not only responsible for end-to-end execution of email delivery but also serves as support to the VP of Sales coordinating the collection of assets, providing daily reporting on all ad units, and maintaining stat documents for advertisers and the department. The ideal candidate for this position will have a solutions-based work ethic and be comfortable wearing multiple hats. If you are excited about taking your skills to the next level in an innovative environment at a fast-growing company, this job is for you! **Objectives to this Role** * End-to-end execution of all ad units from booking to pulling stats after campaigns have concluded. * Interact with advertisers to manage all ad units (email, push, web, etc) and other marketing campaign fulfillment. * Develop segmentation, automations, workflows, and delivery tactics. * Gain a thorough understanding of our email and internal platforms to analyze key metrics and make suggestions to improve subscriber engagement and manage any deliverability challenges that may arise. * Stay updated on industry trends and changes that can affect email deliverability or other ad units. * Proactively improve upon email best practices to optimize conversions and performance. * Provide daily support to the Ad Sales department by compiling and reporting campaign results to advertisers and the VP of Sales. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Performs day-to-day email marketing activities including, collection of assets, creative setup, testing, and deployment of campaigns for our advertisers and internal marketing efforts. * Quality assurance of all ad campaigns to ensure a successful deployment. * Troubleshoots technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution. * Monitor and report changes to list health including any spam issues and reputation concerns. * Documenting and reporting end of campaign stats for all ad units. * Reviewing email deployment stats on a daily and weekly basis to ensure goals are being met and provide feedback to improve processes or address any issues. * Supporting the Ad Sales department with logging campaigns across multiple platforms and contract creation for all ad units. * Work closely with other departments such as Sales, IT, and Marketing on a variety of tasks and projects to ensure accuracy, quality, and that business needs are being met. **Qualifications** * Proven experience with email tools, email campaign building, segmentation, tracking, and reporting. * Experience with email service providers (ESPs). * Knowledgeable about the latest trends and best practices in email marketing. * Strong analytical skills and experience generating email reports. * Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments * Experience with HTML and CSS; JavaScript development, web design. * Proficient in Excel, Microsoft, Adobe, Dreamweaver * Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels a plus * Ability to troubleshoot coding problems, write queries, and a strong understanding of database concepts and segmentation. * Ability to work independently with minimal direction, while also functioning and contributing as part of a team Job Type: Full-time Salary: TBD based on experience **Requirements** Experience: * Email/Operations Marketing: 2 years (Required) * HTML 5: 1 year (Required) * Proficient in Excel * Maropost (A Plus) Education: * Bachelor's (Required) Work authorization: * United States (Required) **Benefits** * Paid time off * Health, Dental, and Vision insurance * 401K
