**Summary of Position:** The Digital Media Coordinator performs a wide variety of digital communications functions including managing social media accounts, designing, and creating social and digital graphics, supporting e-mail marketing and web content creation, and reporting on digital analytics. As an integral member of the Communications team within the Office of Advancement, the Digital Media Coordinator ensures that campaigns align with our brand image and meet critical strategic goals. The Office of Advancement plans and executes a coordinated program integrating enrollment management, donor relations, alumni relations, marketing, branding, and communications. We are distinguished by our Catholic tradition, a welcoming and diverse community, excellent academic programs, and a variety of extracurricular activities. **Key Responsibilities:** ● Create and implement social media strategies, manage a social media content calendar, monitor and engage in social media conversations, and build rapport with followers and partners, as appropriate. ● Coordinate the distribution and evaluation of communications campaigns and share progress and results with appropriate teams. ● Develop test strategies and create content that drives audience growth and engagement across channels with a focus on social media and email. ● Manage the distribution of email marketing, including assembling and coordinating feedback; ensuring content is compelling, on-brand and error-free; and evaluating performance. ● Create and manage digital media assets, including photos, videos, and graphic design files. ● Optimize content for appropriate channels and target audiences. ● Ensure accurate and effective stakeholder data management and segmentation. ● Provide support on website content management. ● Track and report on key metrics across channels and provide recommendations to improve audience reach and engagement. ● Coordinate photography and videography projects as needed. ● Participate in regular team meetings and provide feedback on editorial strategy as it relates to social media, campaigns, and audience engagement. ● Understand and advise on best practices and current trends in social media and email marketing. ● Attend events to produce live social media content as needed. ● Other assignments as required. **Qualifications:** ● Bachelor’s degree in digital media, graphic design, communications, public relations, or related field. ● Minimum of 2+ years of related experience, particularly in social media strategy, content creation, and analytics. ● Strong communicator and team player. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Google Suite, email marketing tools, design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Vidigami, Vimeo), and social media platforms. ● Proficiency in content management systems (Blackbaud) and project management tools (Asana) preferred. ● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; process oriented and strong attention to detail. ● Preferably skilled in graphic design, photography or videography. ● Excellent communicator and team player with a proven ability to collaborate with and support multiple departments and goals. ● Strong organizational and time-management skills. ● Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects independently and make decisions that reflect school vision and strategy. ● Available to participate in events, including some evenings and weekends St. Michael's Catholic Academy is committed to providing equal opportunity in all personnel actions and in the administration of all policies and programs.
