Ask PN: what is the database schema for Pythonic news?
Are post and comments stored in the same table. Is it scalable if it grows. Or post and comments are stored in different table?

It uses Model Inheritance: https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/2.1/topics/db/models/#model-inheritance This is generally not considered a best practice. I used it, however, because PN initially started as an idea for a Django course and I wanted this topic to be covered.

PN is using a single table to store both posts and comments. What about the hacker news i guess it does the same.

Originally flat files :) I ran a HN fork for a while. https://github.com/wting/hackernews/blob/master/news.arc#L73-L76

What have your experiences been with running a community like this?

It's hard seeding it with content initially until it's self sustaining.

Are you still planning on creating this course? I think it would be amazing for there to be a course to create a Pythonic News clone!!

Yes, I do. I'm a bit behind my time schedule.
